Weather Writing Prompts.

Snow, Winter, Frost, Cold, Frozen, Ice
Today in West Virginia! It looks cold doesn't it? I became excited last night when I looked outside at huge flakes were flying. It was a blizzard. And this morning, everything is white. It's not a good day for hiking or jogging or doing anything outside, except
building snowmen, snowballs or sledding. But, there is one thing that it's great for and that's . . .
WRITING!!! I've already thought of ideas for three new picture books. Anyone else snowed in? Instead of getting a bad case of *cabin fever* why not join me today. Use the weather as your writing prompt; snow, snow day, sleding, etc., you get the idea. Bye for now. :)

Have a very Happy & Blessed Christmas!

A STAR SHOWN IN THE SKY

On the first day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
The birth of our lord is magnified.

On the second day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
The angels sung a joyful lullaby.

On the third day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
The birth of a savior is nigh.

On the fourth day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
A sign unto Shepherds camping bye.

On the fifth day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
A savior is born from on high.

On the sixth day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
To the manger where the baby lie.

On the seventh day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
Wise men journey near to edify.

On the eighth day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
Animals come in wonder and awe.

On the ninth day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
The blessed babe does not cry.

On the tenth day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
The foretold event is satisfied.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
Peace on Earth is gifted hereby.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, a star shown in the sky
Bringing joy to the world in a sigh.

Working on What?

A peek at a book that I'm working on.
Most boys may reach for the stars, but these two explorers hatch a plan to fly with the birds. After many years of experiments they learn through trail and error that you can do anything you want if--you don't give up!
They learn to cope with their bitter disappointments. They learn to change what doesn't work. They learn that nothing is more important than making a dream come true.
